Beginning Quilt Piecing (Leslie True)                                                                      Class Fee:  $50.00

Pattern:  CCQ Star

 

In this two-session skill-building class you will learn the basics starting at the very beginning.  We will talk about tools, rotary cutting, piecing, fabric selection, and binding.

 

Whether you are a beginner or an old hand at quilting, you’ll find this an easy quilt to put together.  You will learn the basics of piecing with this quilt while still finishing quickly enough to feel accomplished.  Quilt Size:  approximately 66” X 78”

 

Pattern purchase required; kit available.

Intro to Foundation Paper Piecing (Leslie True)                                                     Class Fee:  $50.00

Pattern:  Vintage Sunburst

 

Are you intrigued with the intricate patterns available with Foundation Paper Piecing? The Vintage Sunburst pattern is the perfect introduction to this process! Come and learn how to use preprinted papers to perfectly stitch non-traditional quilt blocks. Pattern/paper booklet purchase is required. Kits to match the sample are available.

Let’s Keep On Sewing (Alyne Hansen)                                                                    Class Fee:  $50.00

Pattern:  Serendipity

We will work together toward completing the Serendipity (sample made by Debbie) over the 4-month session.  Students have the choice to purchase the kit or use their own fabrics.  Pattern purchase required. Kit available

What will we make this time? The pattern is a mystery! Pick up the supply lists for fabric requirements or choose to make the kit that will match Debbie’s sample.

 

Pattern included in the class fee and kits are available.

Come and sew with friends!  Bring your wool, embroidery, or other projects with you to work on while

you sit and chat with fun sewing friends!

Sew Much Fun Night Out (Alyne Hansen)                                                          $25.00 Each Session

Be prepared for some fun, games, and a few prizes, along with Alyne’s advice and help

in completing your UFOs (Un-Finished Objects)!

Minimum/Maximum Participants:  the minimum of 4 participants must be signed up one

week before class, otherwise the class for that month will be canceled.  Limit 10

participants.

Supplies:  Bring your sense of humor and equipment/supplies for UFOs!

Wooly Girls (Alyne Hansen)                                                                                       Class Fee $50.00

Wooly Girls offers your choice of several projects for this 4-month session, or continuation of your

on-going wool BOM. Alyne will help and get you going on your wool adventure. A strong beginner is recommended for this class.  Monthly kit

purchase is required.

Wool Recovery (Carole Johnson)                                                                            Class Fee:  $50.00 

CLASS IS FULL WITH RETURNING STUDENTS

Have you purchased too many wool kits from the shop but don’t have enough time to finish them?  This class is for you!  Join us for a fun 3 hours of stitching wool, snacks, and friendships.

Class Policies
Please Read Carefully 

Please be aware that in signing up for a class, you are agreeing to adhere to our class policies as outlined below:

Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather, please check our Facebook page for the most up to date information. If road conditions are too icy for us to have class, it’s likely the store will not be open and there may be no one in the shop to answer your call. Classes postponed due to inclement weather will be rescheduled at the teacher’s convenience as soon as possible.

Refunds and Cancellations: CCQ reserves the right to cancel any class that does not meet the minimum participation levels. In the event a class is canceled for this reason, you will receive a full refund. Classes that are rescheduled due to inclement weather are only eligible for store credit.

If you cancel more than 14 days before class, you will receive a refund in store credit. If you cancel after that period or fail to show up for a class, no credit or refund will be given.

Be Thoughtful of Others:  It’s a small space to be shared in the basement, so please do NOT attend class if you have any symptoms of a cold or flu and may be contagious.
